My name is Zaakirah Mohamed. I am a Qualified Foundation Phase teacher with a Masters in Educational Psychology. 

I started my career as a foundation phase teacher but soon realised that many learners are not achieving their full potential because of their emotional, behavioural and academic difficulties. Many of these learners were not receiving the attention that they desperately needed and I felt that I could make a difference.

I am passionate about helping children thrive both emotionally and academically. I have experience working with learners of various age groups and from diverse backgrounds. I have been published on various media platforms discussing issues such as discipline, parenting skills and learning difficulties. I was also a lecturer at the South African College of Applied Psychology and a supervisor at the University of Witwatersrand. I am currently running a successful private practice in Johannesburg
